To add a brush preset to the Brush Presets Library:
In your paint program, create a new square image
(i.e., 256x256, 512x512, etc.) with a black background. You can build
a brush in color, but it will be converted to grayscale when imported
into the Brush Library.

Select a brush preset from the program or create
your own image. The brush color should be set to white or a light gray.

Save the image in one of the following formats: .SGI .BMP .DIB .EMF .FPI .FPX .GIF .JP2 .JPE .JPG .MAC .PCT .PSD .PIC .PNG .PNT .TIF
In Bryce, create a new terrain or symlat.
Click on the
button next to the
selected terrain to enter the Terrain Editor.
Click on New to load a new terrain.
In the Brush Control Tools, click on the Brush
Tool.

The Brushes Library will open up.

Click on Add at the bottom of the library.

The Open File dialog will come up. Locate your
brush image, select it, and click on Open.

The brush will be imported into the library, ready to use.
